

There are three Finalists chosen in the Comedy Features category, three Finalists chosen in the Comedy Shorts category, and three Finalists chosen in the Half-Hour Comedy TV Pilot category.
A Grand Prize winner will be chosen from the Finalists in each category.
The winner of the Movie Magic Screenwriter Screenplay Competition for Best Comedy Feature will receive:
- $2,500 cash
- Two (2) VIP Festival Passes to the L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA (April 15-18, 2010)
- Up to $1,000 towards round-trip airfare and local accommodations
- Movie Magic Screenwriter 6 software
- In-person meeting with Generate, a talent management (Janeane Garofalo, Ryan Eggold, Patton Oswalt) and production company (David Alan Grier's Chocolate News on Comedy Central, Comedians of Comedy)

Also, festival sponsor Inktip.com will provide the winning feature screenplay winner with a promotional package which includes:
- Free 6-month listing for the winning title
- Complimentary title and logline/pitch listings in InkTip Magazine (sent to aproximately 4,500 active entertainment professionals and emailed in PDF to thousands more)
- Once the title is listed with InkTip, publication of the winning logline and title in one of InkTip's weekly industry newsletter (a service not available to the public)
